Some of you may have already seen the post on EpicSki about the possibilities for ESA Stowe this year.
I had the privelage of meeting a few of you and have formed some great friendships at Stowe last year on the Friday before the December event officially kicked off. I look forward to meeting more of you and rekindling some of those friendships from last year.

We've asked what the ESA attendees wanted and Epic is trying to fulfill those requests with a second Stowe ESA event with more opportunities than offered in the ETU(Early Tune Up) in December.
So here's the question posed to me by some of the ESA planners............
Are there any divas who would like to attend the second Event?
The date for the second ESA Stowe may be influenced by interest by Ski Divas, in an attempt to avoid the Solitude trip.
You can post here or comment by pm.
Thank you

So, the big news is we will be doing two ESAs in Stowe this year. At last. I can't wait for you to get to ski the mountain in it's full glory.

The first ESA will be the traditional weekend we have done in years past. It will be held Dec 15-16. The bad news though is we will not be at the Stoweflake this December. They are already booked. We'll find another very attractive option and try to keep it all together in one place. I think everyone will agree it is better when we keep everyone together. Another great piece of news is that Stu is feeling well enoygh that he'd like to take a group this year. He might just do 1/2 days, but I think we could probably build a group that would prefer that anyway. Finally, Heluvaskier has offered to do the videoing for us this year and seems to be tech savy enough it we could make that work with the ESA Forum. I think we'll take him up on that.

We haven't decided on the exact date for the spring yet, but right now we are looking at Feb 25-29 or Mar 3-8. Stoweflake is open both dates and is giving us a good rate, not quite the rate we get in December, but still very good. We've taken all of your feedback from earlier this year and have decided we are going to try a new format for the Spring. We aill have 2 days of coaching with your group, 1 day of clinics and then 2 more days with your group and your same coach. The clinics will be 1/2 day morning and afternoon, and you can do whatever you want including skipping both and staying in bed, the spa, or Charlie B's .

We should have pricing soon, and plan to offer a discount for those that choose to do both events. I'm hoping that by doing both events and using the new ESA forum we can really make a change in your skiing this year.

I may be there in December for the "social" day (Friday), but I'm not going to stay for the clinic.

Can't help you there...

I don't "usually" start skiing till after New Year!

But if it starts dumping in December, I'll change my mind.

Not interested in the weekday "clinic".

If I'm going to take a week off to ski, I'll go west or to Europe. Think about it: same cost for lodging, same cost for lesson+lift, just add a few extra for the plane ticket for un-matched snow condition & terrain. No brainer!
