I think I get this ! Regardless of the bueracracy, titles, money pool & numbers game, it is still your money paying for it. It comes from no where else but the citizens. Is that right ?!

Canadian Elephants Explained

Intheclouds,

Canada's one of the few countries in the world that doesn't carry a deficit, as a matter of fact our federal government actually has a surplus. However, they are able to accomplish this because they ‘download’ financial responsibilities to the provinces, which in turn download these responsibilities to the municipalities. Healthcare, social services, electricity generation, highways, bridges etc which at one time were federal or provincial responsibilities have been integrated into our Cities creating a crisis in our municipal infrastructure.


Hence: Canada: Elephants: A Federal or Provincial Issue: paid for by your local Municipality. Funny eh?
