Easter Skiing

So, who is going to church tomorrow, who is going to brunch and who is going skiing!? Gore Mt. is offering all three, service @ the summit, first tracks down, brunch and of course more skiing!
I'm thinking of opting out of the family bruch for skiing, hey I'll still make it to dinner on time! Supposed to be perfect weather...........so how many divas are skiing Easter Sunday?

Killington is offering a sunrise service as well. I'll be doing that. Gondola opens at 5:30, service at the top, breakfast (more like muffins and coffee),then first tracks :becky:

Hey Veg- that service at Gore is supposed to be awesome. They also have an egg hunt later in the day (if you've lost your eggs and can't find them) Enjoy!

Early services at Sugarloaf. There is a real, actual, stand-alone chapel at the base. Big Easter costume parade for the kids. All this will overlap with the now-rescheduled U.S. National Championships - men's and women's downhills are scheduled for Sunday, postponed from today due to no training runs happening on Friday (high winds, all lifts closed). So it is going to be one busy day at my home mountain.

Sounds like a good day at Sugarloaf. I won't be skiing tomorrow, I am filling in at a ski store for the college kids on spring break. It's been fun, but I am tired and ready to ski again.

Believe it or not, I'm going skiing.

Hubby volunteered to work tomorrow night at the local ski hill and I was able to convince my mom to watch the kids for a couple of hours. Since the orthopedist said I could try skiing as long as I go easy, I'm going to give it a go in the learning area (3 short green trails). I don't expect much, but I have to at least try. It's been 5 weeks that I've been off skis now. It's killing me!

 Just take it easy and enjoy the fresh air, S!

I will be skiing with DH at Sugarloaf tomorrow. I am hoping it's not too windy!

Tough mountain in the wind. At least the SuperQuad is running. Wind was supposed to die down last night but it's still windy, though not as bad as yesterday (whole mt was closed). There will be lots going on at Loaf tomorrow with Easter parade, US Nationals, etc. Be advised that you won't be able to travel between sides of the mountain due to Narrow Gauge being closed (and no crossings allowed) from the summit.

I was going to join Robyn & NannyMin, but my family is having brunch! I really love brunch! So....I'll ski Monday!

We'll be skiing DH and I here at Tremblant. Boy is it windy today. And that makes it really cold on top. Everyone is skiing the north side as the wind is coming up the south. And crowded, where did all these people come from???

Ahh the wind, we had 40+ yesterday at Gore. Oddly enough it was about 0-5 at the summit:noidea:
Sounds like many divas have great Easter plans : ) Enjoy the slopes!

Have fun, be safe, and eat a chocolate bunny afterwards! Or those SweetTarts chicks, ducks and bunnies. Yum. Am I the only one addicted to those?

Working, than having "brunch for dinner" at my parents house when i get off of work.

Normally I don't like to ski weekends, but I'm hoping that Easter celebrations keep folks away during the morning. If I can drag myself out of bed early enough!

Ouch! Those are so sweet, my teeth hurt just thinking about them! I'll stick to the chocolate. :D

 Just take it easy and enjoy the fresh air, S!
It will be so hard to take it easy, but I will. Hubby will be there (running the lift dept) so I suppose if I don't behave, he can always hotlist my pass and keep me off the more difficult part of the hill.

Wore my new boots for a couple hours again today. I think they're ready to be skied in! And I am DEFINITELY taking the new Joyriders out for a spin. Hope they're not offended by the learning area.

Don't forget Peeps!

Everyone skiing tomorrow have a good time and take a run for me!
