Dynastar Legend Powder or Rossi B3?

I am interested in any insight Divas can share about the 2007 Dynastar Legend Exclusive Powder and the 2007 Rossi B3. I am questing a diverse ski with an emphasis on off-piste (think Vail Back Bowls, trees) and an occassional groomer or bump run. This will largely be a west one-ski quiver.

I was hot on the Dynastar Exclusive Legend but decided a wider waist would service off-piste and powder better. My natural next candidate is the Legend Powder; however, as the B3 is so strongly reviewed, I thought it a viable candidate, too.

So levy those opinions and experiences. For those of you playing the home game, I am an advanced+ skier, 5'7, 120 lbs., athletic, with an affinity for off-piste, bowls, trees, anywhere were others aren't. I prefer a medium turn radius and am obsessed with finding the perfect ski.

I skied the Ross B3 women's ski last spring and it was awesome!! I loved it off groomed and through the trees. It was a fairly stiff ski, but very managable. I just floated down a bowl in them and I really enjoyed the width!!

I did not enjoy them on the groomed---they just felt so big. I am 5'4" and 155lbs. I was on the 156---but it hurt my knees to torque over to the edges when I was on groomed. You are taller and have a bigger lever--so maybe you will like them better on groomed. One of the other ski instructors also skied the B3 and she fell in love with them--they are an awesome ski.

I just got the Head Sweet Fat Thangs--very good reviews, 88 waist, and even manageable on the hard pack & crud. Maybe you could look into them, too.

I ski on the 2007 EL Powder. I love them!!! They are fun on the groomers, bumps, off piste. They float through the pow and spring conditions. I skiied the 2004 Exclusive Legend prior to this ski (which I also loved), but I needed a new ski. I was not sure that I would want to ski on the wider ski on a daily basis, but I have no regrets.

I demoed the B3, but I did not like them as well. I found them tough to get on edge.

Ditto. I also found them kind of lifeless, if you want the honest truth.

I LURVED the Volkl Aura, if you like a little zing in your ski. It does well on the frontside also, but it does require a teensy bit more work than some of the others.

Like Quiver Queen, I have also heard good things about Sweet Fat Thang.
