Dog TPLO surgery

My dog walker's 18 m.o. husky just had surgery for a luxating patella. She also has that dog's sibling. Imagine this project of keeping the recovering dog calm with the littermate around wanting to play constantly.

I cannot imagine that. She is in my thoughts & prayers. :hail:

In a development that is incredibly exciting for both of us, Lark is back to a bit of off leash hiking. I'm trying to take it slow because she's so strong and so high energy, but even getting her off leash for a half mile or so has been really fun. She's handling it fine! Looking forward to actually getting her tired at some point over the next few weeks. Equally exciting is that this has all coincided with a stretch of truly lovely weather down here.

Aw, you will! Sorry your fam has to go through the recovery process again. I'm hoping I won't have to eventually do this on Lark's other leg but I realize the odds are not necessarily in my favor.
