My dog walker's 18 m.o. husky just had surgery for a luxating patella. She also has that dog's sibling. Imagine this project of keeping the recovering dog calm with the littermate around wanting to play constantly.
So good to see Lark up and about! In a development that is incredibly exciting for both of us, Lark is back to a bit of off leash hiking. I'm trying to take it slow because she's so strong and so high energy, but even getting her off leash for a half mile or so has been really fun. She's handling it fine! Looking forward to actually getting her tired at some point over the next few weeks.Equally exciting is that this has all coincided with a stretch of truly lovely weather down here.

so wonderful!!!! happy days on the trails!! My grand dog just got her stitches taken out from TPLO surgery on the left (had it done on the right two years ago). I am hoping that I will get to post similar photos of her this summer!!In a development that is incredibly exciting for both of us, Lark is back to a bit of off leash hiking.
