Does anyone know of single-ski rentals?

Hi - I had a post moved - thank you !!- about seeking ski partners to go in on a share in PC/DV-- to a rental section here -- which I did not know existed. I hope this question below is right to be posting here or if it is supposed to be in a general forum? I am thinking since it is about "travel" and seeing other posts here that seem (?) similar is why I am putting it here. I was Googling and found in Europe there are places that are designed for accommodating single skiers (or groups), nomadic workers, co-living, even chalets designed with this is mind. That was amazing to learn about and got me curious about the USA. Does anyone have knowledge of this kind of shared Chalet (etcetera), i.e non--bunk-bed types of shares / solo-skier shared environments (or "nomadic" work/ski places, etc) in Utah or Colorado or anywhere in the US? Thanks. (and if I am once again in the wrong forum, please advise or feel free to move, but I did not think in the rental section this one belonged)

I've heard that Breckenridge has "chalets" like the ones you see in France. I've stayed in chalets in both Tignes and twice in Chamonix. You can have a separate bedroom and bath and they are quite reasonable. The chalet in Tignes was organized by a friend's cousin and the entire chalet was friends and/or family. Probably 12 people. The second and third time I was in a chalet was in Chamonix and there were singles with their own rooms /private baths, and chalets of different sizes and in different areas of Chamonix. They were both really nice with delicious food - fully catered.

I know that some of the travelling ski clubs here in Ontario have chalets where you sign up for room. But that doesn't help you in the states.

Im gonna be bougie and admit that I really want ski in/ski out. lol. I wanna find a way to be slopeside at the most cost effective price.

Id even be willing to join a club, if I had access to their single rooms on slope.

From what I've heard about ski clubs, it's always possible to pay a "single supplement" to avoid having a roommate. Note that ski club trip signups start in the summer for the next season.

For resorts like Taos and Telluride, there is no question that going with a ski club is the most cost effective approach to have slopeside lodging.

My ski buddy who lives in Ohio has been doing ski club trips for decades. Some are bus trips and others involve a flight. The nice part is that all ground transportation from the airport is pre-arranged. After he retired, he's been doing a ski trip every month. Either with his ski club or with friends like me who prefer to make independent arrangements. His wife is a non-skier.

Ski clubs that are close enough to a ski mountain sometimes organize trips with a smaller group that are based on carpooling. We met up with a group from Albuquerque at Wolf Creek in December. There were 10 people who shared cars for the 4 hour drive. It was just for a weekend so they stayed in motel rooms in Pagosa Springs.

I'm not sure I've heard of anything like that in the US where someone can pop in and out without a seasonal commitment.

I know in Tahoe, there are seasonal ski leases. A lot of times, these groups form privately in the fall, for the upcoming season, and there's sort of an interview process to make sure you're the right fit. In case you or anyone else is interested in Tahoe, here's a page to get started: https://www.snowpals.org/leases/

I don't think any clubs at the Tahoe resorts have ski-in/ski-out cabins, although they are often very close to the resorts. They also tend to have residency requirements - i.e., you need to live within a certain distance of a particular geographic area to be a member, pay an annual fee, plus a fee for each stay. There is often some service work that goes into becoming a member as well.

I've only been to Park City once, but I found there to be so many reasonably-priced studio rentals on the free bus route. I haven't looked in a while, though
