Do you always ski in the same jacket, or switch from one to another?

I just bought a Burton jacket on Poshmark, so now I have two ski jackets. My outdoor research jacket is very warm, dry, and well ventilated but I don’t love the fit. Maybe the Burton will fit better!

Why do you hate shells?

I don't like all the decisions involved with shells. What to put under it, etc.. Just give me a coat to toss on. I might just be lazy or horribly indecisive. lol

Don't worry @tinymoose because my thought was 'what's the big deal with shells'? But everyone's different. I wear layers under my insulated jackets, but they're likely overall thinner than the layers one would wear under a hard shell. I wear a fleece vest if it's really cold, but I could never fit a mid-layer (for ex an Arcteryx Atom jacket), it would be too Michelin Man-ish.
