Diva Weeks 2026 - Whiteface and Big Sky

I wanted to start a public thread about our 2026 trips, for anyone who's not yet a member or hasn't posted much. The main planning threads for these trips -- like all threads involving in-person meetups -- can only be seen if you're a registered member with at least 15 posts.

If you're a newer member, reply to a few threads, or start a new thread to introduce yourself in the Getting To Know You forum. I think you'll be surprised how quickly you can get to 15 posts. If you're not a member yet, join the forum here! We'd love to have you.

So! Every year, we organize two trips, and this year those trips are:

Diva East: Whiteface, in early February 2026. Once you're a registered member with enough posts, you can see all the details here:

Diva West: Big Sky, in mid-March 2026. Once you're a registered member with enough posts, you can see all the details here:

There's a blog post with some general info about Diva Weeks here:

If you've never been to a Diva Week, we really encourage you to come. Meeting other Divas to ski in person is truly one of the best parts of this community. If you're a newer member and have any general questions, please ask here!

For those considering heading to Big Sky, the new Explorer gondola construction is going well. Will make it possible to ride up directly to the tram base from the main base. Also means the lines for the two chairlifts at the base should be shorter with a third way to get away from the main base.

Thank you for posting this. I can't wait to ski with some of you! I'm going to the Women Who Ski week in Big Sky, which I think overlaps with the Ski Diva dates. I hope to join both somehow!

Oh Cool! We have to meet up. What level skier are you? I'm so excited for this trip. Are you planning to go early too?
I’d love that!! I’m an intermediate skier - trying to get confident on more advanced terrain this season, hopefully before the trip! I still need to book flights but am hoping to go at least a day or two early. What about you?

Cool! Yes, I'm haven't booked my flights yet either. But thinking of going a few days early and staying a few extra day. I'm an advanced skier but not expert. Let's stay in touch!!

Construction of the new base gondola is going well at Big Sky.

People who park in the closest lot will be able to walk and ride up to the upper mountain without having to go to the main base. Assuming they boot up at the car and have a pass/ticket already.

Awesome!!
Welcome! Have you skied at Big Sky before?

My last trip to Big Sky was a couple years ago. Can't make Diva West but Big Sky is in my personal Top Five so I'll be headed back sooner rather than later.
