Adding my reflections on this trip for posterity and with the hope of encouraging other intermediates to consider joining Diva trips in the future.
Today, I was back out on my home hill (Holiday Valley in Ellicottville, NY.) And being back on familiar terrain, I was struck by how much the Diva trips just make me a better skier. Trying new things, bigger hills, skiing with a group of such talented women -- I came back changed! (It helps that today was a bluebird day, but I did a bunch of the steepest single blacks for the first time today, and felt absolutely amazing and confidently in control. Woot woot!)
My own personal trip highlights:
-Two years ago at Jay, I was absolutely terrified out of my mind like 65% of the time, it was just all so much bigger and different.

This year, I still skied pretty conservatively, but was never afraid.
-I rode a gondola for the first time! And one of those weird conveyor belts to a chair that I had previously only ever seen in funny Instagram reels!
-I skied down from the top-ish of both peaks (no hiking, obvs.) I left Wilmington Trail for another visit. It was windblown and my legs were shot.
-I caught a split second of air in the beginner park! On accident. But I didn't fall!
-I skied the longest single run I have ever skied and my highest vertical feet in a day.
Special shoutout to
