What a great day we had at Okemo today! Divas joining me on the hill were our special guest Snowhot (all the way from Michigan!), Lilgeorg, Skigirl, Tcarey, Cnewbound, and LiquidFeet. The sky was blue, the sun was shining, and the snow was spring skiing soft. What could be bad????

Take a look at the pix:

We came back to the hotel and sat in the Hot Tub for about an hour. I'm not sure if I will have anything left to ski tomorrow but today was FUN, FUN, FUN!!!!! We are so happy that we made the trip up.

Terry, Crystel, you divas are awesome! Thanks for the great tips and the patience on the bump runs! Hopefully I won't hurt too bad on Sunday when the boyz whoop up on me at kton.

It was a great day. The snow was firm in the morning, softened in the afternoon and made for some great turns.

Psst, I don't think phil's gonna like it when I tell him I'm getting longer poles:eek:

It was a great day in deed!
We have been blessed with a great group of people to ski with

This is Tcarey in the bumps!
She and Crystel were so helpful with my technique
Now! Can I really do it for real like I do it in my head?

This is BAD!!! Jeff got new skis tonight!!!! We never should have gone shopping to kill time!!! BAD, BAD, BAD!!! They were a great deal. He got the Fischer RC4 SL, 160cm with a 10 meter radius!!! He wanted to be able to turn as short as the girls were!! Terry and Crystal, he wants to sync again tomorrow!!! We should have more fun again tomorrow!!! We may never go home at this rate.

Thanks Again,
Jill and Jeff

At the end of the day, Lilgeorg, Mr LilGeorg, and I went to a book reading by Mr SkiDiva. It was a very nice end to a beautiful day.

A great big shout out has to go to Byron Smith (Max Capacity from Epic) who is an ambassador for Okemo. He served as out guide for the Diva Day and again today. He also supplied us all with discount coupons for food ! When you considert that we had Byron, Terry Carey, and Crystel Newbound , I would say that Okemo employees really took good care of us. And talk about fun! It doesn't get any better. Thanks to all three of you for making the 2 days "epic".

Well ladies, the weekend was rounded out with flight delays coming home as well.
I've been asked by a few about my Day at Killington with the Bears.
So here it goes..........

The instruction and help with my friends at Okemo helped a ton, then I got a taste of Killington, and all I had learned was out the window and I was in panic mode.
My arm went back again, and I skied the bumps like bambi on the ice, and generally knew I was in over my head.
I skied outer limits and only fell about 6 or 7 times(I lost track so it could have been 8 or 10 times, but I think most of my wipe outs are on video:o )

All in all I had a great weekend!
