Volkls - from left to right go: Aura, Mantra, Katana, then some superhuman sized pow ski...looks new. (Mantras, I love you.)

Okay, so I think my favorite pair on here are the K2's in the second to last shot with the classic, fluorescent K2 topsheet graphics.

skigirl27, I love the title of this thread! Thanks for posting the link. I wasn't aware until yesterday that the Aura was considered a freestyle ski as well as a freeride ski. After demo'ing it and doing some research, it put me one step closer to buying it. I love next year's graphic, but not for me (maybe 20 years ago). Though this year's graphic is not practical (white for a pow ski), I really like it.

So, you bought the Mantras! I think you'll be very happy with them. The owner of the shop that I demo'd the Aura in yesterday skis the Mantras. He's only 5'5" tall and not a heavy guy and skis the 177s (of course, he's of the generation that skied super long skis for many years) and he loves the ski describing it as the perfect all mountain ski for the Rockies that is easy to ski. As you probably know, it is the Aura, just a little stiffer. Enjoy! When do they arrive?

Yeah I thought I'd get the divas in an uproar with a risque thread title.

Mantras - found my size still in plastic on Ebay. My hook-up & Volkl rep said the Mantras were so popular that none were available on pro-form anymore...so I'm stuck buying skis like the rest of the population.

And since the pic of next year's Mantra wasn't too earth-shattering...I figured just buy the damn things. So I made a deal with the devil on Ebay - making the paypal payment tonight. The seller's in CO - so I'm trying to get them here by this weekend & mounted ASAP!!!

Marker Jester's. Never thought I'd love bindings...but these one's are pretty sick.

Way cool! The Jesters were recommended to me for my Auras, but my DIN is a 5.5 and the Jesters start at 6. The '09 model is supposed to start at a lower DIN setting. Enjoy!
