I noticed last weekend that I ski the bumps and trees much better when I'm either singing out loud or repeating something out loud. I have no idea why this is.
Maybe it helps me keep a nice rhythm, or maybe it keeps my mind off the fact that if I miss the next turn I'm going to crash into either a tree or a big mogul
, or maybe I'm just crazy. I've always used little internal mantras when skiing, but saying or singing it out loud seems to work much better. So if any of you ladies also sing or talk to yourselves out loud while skiing please share so I can feel less like a crazy woman.
