Copper Mt question

I'm organizing a family trip to Copper next winter. I've been looking at vrbo.com, the official Copper site and a few others that came up on Google for accomodations. It seems like it's condo city without many larger homes for rent--can anyone tell me if that's about right, or if I'm just not looking in the right place? It's fine if we're in different condos/townhouses (maybe even better!) but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. I know about Frisco but we want ski in/out. Thanks!

Not too many larger homes ... how big do you want? There are some on the golf course (The Masters, The Woods), and then on the other side near Union Creek (Lewis Ranch). Elk Run has townhomes at the bottom of the Super Bee.

I saw one at Lewis Ranch but it was way more luxurious and $$ than we need. Thanks for mentioning those other areas--I'll google and see what I find. I am interested in 4-6 bedroom homes (I have found some 4 bdrms), but again, it might not be heartbreaking if we have to spread out a bit in different condos/townhouses in the same complex. We can all take only so much family togetherness.

Yeah, I understand. There aren't really any non-luxurious larger homes at Copper. The townhomes at Elk Run and Union Creek and the Woods are all very nice, and you could certainly find a couple near to each other.

Yeah, Copper Mountain isn't really a town and there are few people who live there year round so it is mostly condos. Pinto gave more info than I know on the details of housing.

I know someone that rents their Elk Run unit if you are interested. I think it is 3 bedrooms. Very nice! PM me for more info.

Exactly what I needed to know. Thanks all!
