Well let's just hope it happens. It's all supposed to dump on Saturday thru Sunday morning.

However, it is dumping in Aspen right now - contrary to the forecast. I'm not complaining, I just hope it keeps up!!

Monday = pow morning, late day at the office. It's my destiny.:snow::snow::snow::snow:

Uh, oh. That could spell disaster for my drive tomorrow. Ugh, I hope not. Enjoy the pow!

Let's hope enough of this one spills over into the Sawatch Range. Right now we're right on the edge of the heavy dump area. We're forecasted for only 10 inches, but maybe, just maybe the storm will track a little bit eastward! We could sure use it, we've missed out on all the big storms so far.

We were planning to start driving from Los Angeles to Keystone today. Looking at the weather forecast it's just not going to happen - too much snow between here and there! If we get a break in the action in the next couple of days we and our fat skis will be on our way!!! :jealous:

Actually today's drive didn't end up being bad at all. I've spent some much worse drives both up and down over the years. Which shocked me since it snowed most of the day on the mountain. :D

Glad to hear it. Where were you driving?

We are driving from southern California to Keystone and there are a lot of parts of the trip that will be snowy and treacherous.

I skied at Copper, coaching and it was great. Still early season and I did have a tree top sticking out from a run grab me at one point but over all very nice. Really enjoyed some great soft snow over on Timberline with some nice soft bumps. Bumps are much easier when you're lighter by 38 lbs. :p

We've gotten 14" so far, and it's still snowing. According to the weather forecast, another storm is going to hit us tomorrow (this one isn't supposed to end until tonight) and they think we'll get another 1-2 feet out of that one. :yahoo:

I'm skiing today (despite the cold temperatures) so I can try out my Phat Luvs. They opened up a lot of new terrain today! :D :ski2:

Just got back from Vail... it was SICK. My legs and my core muscles are so SORE today LOL. It's a good sore though.

And, (edit) we were back there when the avalanche triggered off lovers leap... it was freaky. They wanted everyone out

Careful, all. Big snow= some dangers --

MSL,

It's kind of weird how bad the avalanche activity is so early in the season. We had an in-bounds here in T-Ride last week, but thankfully no one was injured. I were clothing with Recco, but I think I'm going to start carrying a Pieps because it's been so bad.
