So I managed to snag myself a gently used Down Patrol for about $50 
and man, is that ever a cool jacket! I didn't realize that it has a pocket in the back for a hydration bladder?! It also has a napoleon pocket with a zipper right inside the storm flap, meaning that you can get into the hidden pocket without unzipping the jacket. I wanted something really warm that had pit zips, but I wasn't expecting all these cute little features. Now I have a good reason to go brave the cold temps and wind and go night skiing this week...
