Given that is Easter this year, I would guess there are other places hoping to make it that long as well. I've heard it's a stretch goal for Massanutten but would probably be just the weekend.Wachusett is now listing April 4 as their closing day.

I’m hoping Sunday River does their Easter Sunrise ceremony at the Peak this year . It’s such a lovely non denomination ceremony, I missed it last season since we all had to close early.
I'm not sure, if it's early for them or not, given I haven't ever skied there at this time of year before. It seems early to me though. Is that early, it sounds way too soon!
They usually close around mid April, They have been known to extend the original announced date depending on conditions. (made it to May once in recent years)I'm not sure, if it's early for them or not, given I haven't ever skied there at this time of year before. It seems early to me though.
Which region are you thinking about? In the southeast, all the ski areas/resorts are extending as much as possible given the recent snowmaking temps. It's going to be very warm (60s) this week, but making it to March 21 and beyond is very much of interest because it's actually been a very good season for new people to check out what sliding on snow is all about. This season has brought the biggest weekday skiers/riders ever seen. The resorts do not have an incentive to extend the season. I understand their decision to have a clear plan in place but it breaks my heart.
Interesting. What is happening for Stowe and Okemo? Sticking with the original plan?A number of Vail resorts extended their seasons today: Mount Snow (VT), Sunapee (NH), Keystone (CO), Vail, and Beaver Creek.
