This article was sent along to me by a friend. It is so interesting that the snow can be protected through the summer. I feel like I should travel up to Craftsbury just to support them!!

I think I remember reading about it last year. So this is great! They still have snow this December!

Killington makes extra snow in the fall and winter, storing it for spring, when they spread it on Superstar, so they can stay open late into the spring, even summer. Imagine how much they could save if they could bury it, covered in wood chips, with a reflective fabric cover!
