ARGH!!!! I have 2 mini size Clif bars that I got from a race that I was saving as they're really a perfect bike ride size both from a calorie and a packability perspective and they're affected. Into the garbage they go. :(

Thanks for the heads up. The PB Clif bars are some of my favorites - I have a few sitting in our pantry. Definitely going to check them out tonight.

I wonder if any recalls apply to Nature Valley Granola Bars? I will google this, but my internet skills suck.

Nature Valley isn't currently included but I was quite purposeful when I bought some of theirs this week not to get the peanut butter kind. I was a victim of the last round of peanut butter salmonella poisoning and do not want to be a victim of this round. It sucked beyond explanation, especially since it happened over Thanksgiving.

My boxes of Clif Crunchy Peanut Butter AND Clif Builder's Peanut Butter both have the dreaded "buy by" dates!!!
I guess I am lucky that I didn't get sick, since I ate 3 of the Clif and one of the Builders already. But, erring on the side of caution, into the garbage they went .

Trust me, you do not want to suffer from salmonella poisoning. It's beyond miserable. I thought I was going to die at some points.
