Cheap airline tickets: Southwest to SLC

I just booked a round trip from Denver to Salt Lake for a little February skiing ... $49 each way, for a total of $118 rt with taxes.

(Yes, that does mean that it will stop snowing in Utah for the year, but I'm still excited.)

Anyway, I know that Denver is a lot closer and cheaper than most places, but I think all the fares are pretty decent. FYI ...

Definitely - I think Southwest is the way to go if flying into SLC; the Delta terminal there has the potential to be a perpetual zoo from what I've seen whereas I think the Southwest terminal is smaller with less people traffic. Last winter, I was able to get a flight to SLC on Southwest from the DC area (BWI) for $99 one way. Had to fly Delta on the way home, though, and the check-in process was a nightmare.
