I vote for boot heaters and boot gloves! Socks, even the best merino wool, do little to keep you warm. I have ultra thin Smart Wool and Darn Tough socks and boot heaters/gloves are a must.. I think I am ready to move to a bit warmer socks. ( Minnesota winter is too cold). And advice on thin or ultra thin ski socks for small feet?
I ski on Afton Alps or Welch VillageI agree When ski areas are closed thats too cold! Where in MN are you?
I ordered a pair, but even the extra small is too big for me. :-(. I used to wear kid large ski socks.I like the Eurosocks. I wear one ultra light and one light. One of my feet is bigger.
This is the ultralight. I also got boot heaters because my feet get cold no matter what socks I wear.

I take a kids' large in SmartWool! But I now prefer my silly kids' *medium* snow socks from Fox River. First ones that cover my calves completely without cutting off circulation at the knee, and don't have too much room in the foot. The larges are just a teeny bit long in the foot but fit my calves slightly better. Medium it is.I ordered a pair, but even the extra small is too big for me. :-(. I used to wear kid large ski socks.
got a pair on Sierra XS. fits very well! thanks! been out with those couple timesMine are Smartwool phd ultra light, purchased on sale at Sierra
