So today I'm walking through the base lodge at Okemo, looking for a place to eat my lunch. As usual, I have my SkiDiva tote bag over my shoulder. I spot an empty seat next to a woman at a table, so I ask her if it's available. After she says yes and I sit down, she says, "I know you! You're the one with the web site!" Turns out it's one of our newer members, Judyf1, who recognized me from both the the bag and my avatar.

We spent a nice half hour sitting and chatting.

Divas are everywhere!!!!

The craziest meetings occur when you least expect it. There are, indeed, Ski Diva's everywhere. With the number of ladies we have posting here now, the odds are, you'll bump in to one sometime, somewhere.

Yup, finally placed my order for a baseball cap and golf shirt. Can wear the cap now and shirt come summer, or when DH gets the wood stove going too much at the condo!!

I'm just waiting until I bump into a fellow Diva.

Jilly, good reminder to take a look at the items to order. I'll have to do that very soon.

Another chance meeting: today I was at the Ibex tent sale in Quechee, Vermont. And while I'm standing on line waiting to pay for a Shak jersey and a Bella vest, I started talking to the woman on line behind me. Turns out yes, she's a Diva!!!

Here's a shout out to skivermont!

Everyone sing.....It's a small world, after allllllllllllllll

What a small world!!

Hi Wendy,

What a coincidence - meeting you in line at the IBEX tent sale! I had already checked out with "my wonderful woolies", had lunch and was getting ready to head back to Burlington, when my son called and told me to pick him up some zephyr xip-tees. If I hadn't stood in line twice, we never would have met.

As soon as I got home, I logged on and realized that I have not taken advantage of your fabulous site! I didn't even remember that my name was "skivermont". I occasionally use "bikevermont" as a username or password too. Last evening, I had tickets to see "OPUS" at the Flynn Space, so didn't have time to send you note.

Anyway, you have a new "active" ski diva member, who is looking forward to Opening Day at Vermont ski resorts and skiing at Okemo with you and other Divas. I teach part-time at Stowe and Smuggs, so I hope you will be able to come up here too.

As promised, here's my contact information. And if you are ever in Burlington...do call!
