Cat Tracks Too Big

Toucan

This is marginally related to ski gear, but didn't know where else to post it. I talked a friend of mine into buying cat tracks for her ski boots last year. This year she bought new boots that are a bit smaller than her last pair, making her old cat tracks too big.

Here's the question: is there any way to shrink cat tracks once they've been 'fit' to another larger pair of boots? Or does she have to just buy another pair of the cat tracks? Thanks for any suggestions!

She has to buy another pair, IMO. I suppose you could try stapling a cinch in the connecting area and wrapping it in duck tape, but my guess is that the band will tear using staples.

I used to need Cat Trax, but they always stretched and I'd pass them on to guys.

There's a new brand out there that looks nicer, I forget what it is.
