Cat Pee'd in Boots Thread from EpicSki

I've had this happen with 2 friends. One was the boot box of boots she was trying on at home. The other friend was packing to come and see us and the cat pee'd on her ski jacket and goggles. She just went out a bought a new coat and borrowed my extra set goggles for the weekend.

I've had cats for years, none of them ever pee'd in anything except where they were suppose to. Sounds like the cat wasn't happy Mommy went away.

Wow. That cat was p-o'd. My folks had a p-o'd cat once that pulled stunts like that. I had a cat (RIP dear old friend) for 16 years that was so incredibly scrupulous that if there was ANYTHING visible in the litter box, he wound HOUND me until I got the message to clean it up. Much less soil anything else. Guess I was lucky.... Miss the guy.

Nagged, hounded, harassed - though I liked the verb "hound" as this cat distinctly thought he was a canine and did everything but bark

I used to have a cat that fetched. He was really fun. He also kept me up at night "talking." He was part Siamese (sp?). I hear that talking is a trait of theirs.

Had to get rid of him because he became very dominate and started spraying. We took him to the vet and tried everything. Nothing physical. Gave him to my bro. and he had him at his barn. This one family from the barn loved him so much that they took him home.

Mine played hide and seek - both as hider and seeker. It was hilarious.

I had a similar experience - staying with my family in Colorado, I had been admiring a lovely new jacket, but couldn't really justify buying another one. Then that same night their elderly cat peed on my old jacket, they were falling over themselves to apologize, I just shrugged and said don't worry, I have a new jacket all lined up!!

Guess what the new one is called - DNA Cat Lady!!
