No big dumps, just a few nightly falls of a few inches... But with "local knowledge", we managed to find quite a bit of "freshies" in the bowls and amounst the trees! Also, first time hiking out of resort boundry into the "back country" (in full view from chair).

As my friends said, a bad day out west is still better than a good day in the east.

Actually, that smile has more to do with hiding my fear than with anything else (and perhaps a little bit of "thank god the hike is over").

Yes, the hike (and the nerve) was worth it. It is special to have first track!
