Can't Ski....Going to a Movie!

Ok....since the darn highway isn't opening anytime soon, I'm going to have a New Year's Eve Movie Fest:

Here are some I want to see:
Atonement
Juno
Charlie Wilson's War
Enchanted (saw it and want to see it again!)
The Bucket List
Ps....I Love You
27 Dresses
The Diving Bell and the Butterfly (SOUNDS FABULOUS!)
The Great Debaters
Sweeney Todd (dark....but come on....IT'S JOHNNY DEPP!!!!:eyebrows: )

Have you seen any of these? What do you recommend? Any missing from my list?

I really enjoyed Juno. It was really cute, but it may be heartwrenching for couples that have fertility issues. Sadly, the couple that Jennifer Garner and Jason Bateman play fit a pair of my friends to a T.

btw - I'm doing a movie-fest tonight, too, if plans to play pool fall through (married couples are soooo unreliable. :becky:). I'm thinking National Treasure 2 (I was called to be an extra in it, but declined -- now I want to see if they actually show any "Asian Tourist at Lincoln Memorial") and then I've rented the Bourne Ultimatum.

NVG, that's brilliant, maybe I should head to the movies as well! I got two tickets from Santa in my stocking. I saw Juno for Christmas day and it is cute but I agree, may be difficult for those with fertility issues.

Luckily, since we just got married, fertility issues are the LEAST of our concerns. Our main issue is toothpaste cap, lid down or up and how the heck to hang the toilet paper on the roll! Sheesh! The stress of it all! :ROTF:

Oh.....that married couple thing ticks me off! Always has! Steve and I vowed to each other to not be unreliable and not back out of anything that we commit to! Being single for 40 years will make us better friends to others.....married or not.....as a married couple! :D

Oh well, just be glad you're not stuck UP there trying to get DOWN. What a mess that's going to be once things finally do open up: bumper to bumper forever... Kinda worried about the food supply up there! My son says there isn't a loaf of bread in Frisco to be purchased at the moment. Seasonal folks are doubling up with friends so they can rent their houses/rooms to stranded tourists. Pretty crazy New Year's Eve....!! ANY idea when 70 might reopen?

So far they are saying no estimated reopening time. And, yes, the traffic coming into town will be horrendous when it opens. The wind is whistling down here in Denver so I can only imagine what it's doing in the foothills.

One room in the house where my son lives just got rented out (vacant for one week, renter away visiting family) to stranded tourists. What a mess out there. Hang tight w/regard to tomorrow---might still be a difficult trip.
