I'm so proud: I got them all right -- though I kind of guessed with Wisconsin and Minnesota (I always get those two mixed up). Arkansas & Missouri are tough for me, too.

Now, on to fourth grade!

I got one wrong....Massachusetts...the state I live in...because I dropped it as I was moving it. I think it was wishful thinking. I dropped it close to Utah and Colorado.

I got them all correct. Snowhot I would never forget where Michigan is. I'm from St. Louis - and we spent most summer vacations in Douglas, Michigan in a cottage on Lake Michigan. The two states I have to think hard about are Arizona and New Mexico. I DEFINITLEY can place Colorado and Utah!

It's all the I states in the mid part of the country and the M ones heading up north that confuse me!

No sweat! I was more worried about my dragging and dropping skills for Rhode Island and Delaware...

You should be allowed to double-drop Michigan!

I was always a geography geek. It was a fun game, though. It's Alabama and Mississippi that get me most of the time. I usually remember New Hampshire is next to Mass. - I knew a bunch of techies that lived in NH and worked in MA to avoid some taxes or something.

Can't find Alaska!?

I guess my drag-n-drop skill sucks. I can find that little spot where Rhode Island fits in. Even Maine had trouble settling down, with all the space... :(

Tried to dump New Jersey to the sea but it landed next to New York! :(

BTW, whatever happen to the U.P.? It didn't change color when I drop Michigan in. I thought they must made a mistake so I dropped Wisconson down and it still didn't change color! Is that now part of Canada???

Ugh... My drag and drop skills are not so good. Plus, I think the game had it in for me. I dragged Montana into the correct place at least 10 times and it would not stick.

Oooh, fun game! Agreed that the drag & drop could could use some work -- it's really picky and imprecise.

This reminds me of the time I tried to draw a map of the US from memory this summer:

There are some notes on it at Flickr:
