I was just wondering how many Divas now own a pair of Auras?

Post up what year and size yours are.

Mine are the 06-07, 177cm and are my current favorite ski!

I have the 07/08 in 163 and am still waiting to find a good deal on appropriate bindings... and then for the snow to return!

06/07 Green model in 163cm. Most favorite ski? Probably. Especially when conditions are right to use them! :snow:

06-07 in 177cm. Haven't had a chance to try them yet!

Now, the next question should be: Which Aura owners are going to be at next year's Diva Summit?

I bought some from REI last month and they sent me an email a few weeks ago stating that it's been backordered. If they don't receive them within a month, then they will cancel my order. Uh, I guess since they are discontinued, I will plan on them being cancelled. Oh well, wasn't sure I wanted to buy another ski this year anyway. BTW, it was the 156 07-08 white. I really prefer this topsheet to the 09s.

My Auras are bound!

Hi Ladies,

Some of you may know that i bought Auras and Marker 12 Free bindings in the US, then brought them back to Germany with me last month. Well - I just picked my Auras up from the shop today - with the Marker bindings firmly attached! For good measure, I also got my Burnin's waxed. Now I am just waiting for the opportunity to head down to an Austrian glacier to try out the Auras... I know there will be no powder but who cares...I want to try them.

The Harts I bought are still in DC...

Uh, and YES, as soon as I got home I laid the Auras on the rug, put on my boots, and clicked in. That is, if you were wondering. Both sets of skis are currently lying at the foot of the bed. No...not *in* the bed, but close.

I've got my 08/09's coming in around September/October. And yes, I love the new topsheets, contrary to popular opinion.

Gettin them set up w/ Marker Duke bindings and I cannot WAIT. Between those and my Mantras - I guess I'm a Volkl girl now too!!

Yes, love 'em, and mine are the 06/07 in 177 cm. And my favorite ski in the quiver.

Ok I had to pick from about 100 Aura threads to post this - wow we used to talk about this ski a LOT!

Anyway, since I wasn't sure how many rocks there would be on the slopes this past weekend, I decided to take my Auras. I know, I know - it is not exactly that my Auras are rock skis, but they are the shortest of my skis now, and I didn't really dig the bindings I put on them (22Designs Vice - stiffer than I like), so I figured I would be less upset over Aura damage than Kiku or Lady Hart or Amaruq damage.

Anyway, I skied on the Auras for two days and...I am in LOVE again! These skis can do basically anything - fast - slow - carve - smear - crud - groomed - slush...even at 170, which I was feeling were too short, they are fantastic and I can't believe they are no longer available in the same form. I've decided that the 170 is a good length for telemarking, and great for quicker turns and maneuverability. Plus the skis are stiff enough that they don't chatter or get squirelly at speed, as has been said often. Even the Vices behaved well, though they are a pain to get on and off, but that is another issue. I have the white Auras with the pink bases - I forget what year that is - and they are amazing *sigh*. (wait I just noticed above that I wrote back in 2008 that mine are 07/08 - but they are definitely 170s and not 177).

Anyway Aura Love lives on!

Ah, Aura love! I put Dynafits on mine last season, and it was the same thing after skiing them the first day -- which was inside the resort, to make sure everything was running okay. I was definitely thinking, "Hey! I remember you guys! Missed you but kind of forgot about it!"

I've been so busy playing on the Kikus and Shiros, I haven't been on mine in a while either. Guess I need to dig them out again this weekend.
