Buy boot liner?

Can you buy a boot liner without purchasing an entire new pair of boots?

In the time-honored tradition of drying your boots after a day of skiing, one boot liner fell over and the plastic on the liner melted, thanks to an apparently wicked hot vent...ruined a final day of skiing and has my mind reeling - my custom-fitted boots were FINALLY broken in.

On the bright side, the three ski days I did get here at Steamboat were excellent. Just would have liked one more...

Back in the day of snowboarding in Sorrels we used to buy regular ski boot liners to put into them. They came cheap and easy. I don't know for sure if you can still by a basic liner, but I know that you can buy one called an Intuition liner, and I have heard great things about them. I think they are relatively pricey, but cheaper than new boots and alot of people I know have put them into brand new boots as well. They look pretty bomber, I haven't used one yet though.

LOVE my intuition liners, but they came with the boot. Don't know if they fit everyboot, but I think they may fit most. Run $150 but maybe go on sale ? They get heated , put in your boot, on your foot & mold to it. Really warm too.

Yes, you can replace them. As num said above, zipfit, also conformable, intuition. Found at good bootfitters. I'm seriously considering doing the same, although my liners are still somewhat new. (not for long...)

Ouch re your liner meltdown :( In the long run, you'll likely be even happier with the fit of the custom liner, and if you like your shells and current (former?) fit, this is the way to go. I'm sure others will reply today - forgot who all has them, but quite a few divas do.

Just opened my eyes and read everything: you're at STEAMBOAT? GREAT bootfitter there! One Stop Ski Shop - look in the book. They did a bunch of mods to my boots one year, also my son's. They might be able to help you out TODAY. Even if too late for this trip, at least you'd be back in business.

Yes, it is possible. Contact the manufacturer of the boot.
This might take longer (or even considerably longer) than she's willing to wait.
I remember trying to replace Raichle (when they were in business) Flexon Comp bails for buckles......long wait....ski shop did much better.

Thanks for the advice! i talked to my ski shop at home and can definitely just get one liner. I already have heat molded liners and the custom footbeds, so this was just a pain.

This was my last day in Steamboat, so as long as I can get the liner by my next trip to Wyoming in three weeks, I'll be OK!
