Bristol Mountain, NY??

If I've posted in the wrong area, please forgive me. I'm looking for some info on Bristol Mountain. Namely is it worth it for a day trip if I'm in the Rochester area next weekend.

My husband and I may be in Rochester for some other activities next weekend. So I'm wonder if it's worth toting the skis along or not. We ski mainly blues. We've skiied most at Attitash, Sunday River, and Cranmore, however have also had days at Mount Snow, Okemo, Bolton Valley, Sugarbowl (Tahoe), Black Mountain (Jackson NH), and Sugarloaf. We've enjoyed all other than Okemo, however that was an icy day-after-thanksgiving trip so perhaps that had more influence than the mountain itself.

Any input from divas familiar with this mountain - as well as the actual time/distance to get there from Rochester is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Did they get any decent snow from the storm? If you've got room, bring at least the boots, and the skis. You can always demo at Bristol.

We went to Bristol a few times while we lived in NY. My guess is it's only about 30 minutes or so from Rochester. As a blue skier, you'll be able to ski everything at Bristol, including the blacks. The blacks are pretty wide open and fun. Decent vertical, some good length trails.

It can get very crowded on the weekends, though. But the lifts move pretty quickly.
