Bought boots, need ski advice

Okay, so last year I took everyone's advice and bought boots--Lange Comp 100's. Love those boots! I had not used shaped skis, tried my daughter's Roxys, and had fun on them (146?8?). Bought some women's Dynastars (153?) cheaply and I really hate them. I feel like I can't turn these skis at all, and feel like I can't ski! They are very tiring for me. So, this is the year for skis. My sons say I need more flexible skis and they are hoping I get better and will head onto some glades--we'll see about that.
I am 5'3", 107 lbs and an intermediate-advanced skier, not really aggressive, but I enjoy speed when the skis work for me. My old ones were junior Rossi GS skis, long and straight. I could ski better on them than the Dynastars.
I am considering K2 One Luv and maybe the Elan Black Magic. Any suggestions or help much needed!
Thanks. I don't have demo opportunities here, I am in an area with only small and limited skis shops--oh, I am in VT, so we are talking ice and eastern stuff.
Thanks!!!

I tried the black magic last year at a demo day for this years skis. I really liked it. It's a true parabolic ski. I was at Tremblant so similar conditions to what you ski. I found it held the hardpack, liked all types of turns and was a great carver. So from what you're saying could be a good choice. Ski Press has a good review on it.

Which Dynastars are you on? Might be a wrong ski for you (size and ability wise) as I've found the Exclusive line to often be forgiving and easy turning.

Also when/where did you get them? Would they be exchangable?

Thanks--My skis

Thanks for the info--my current skis are Dynastar Exclusives. I am not really sure why they aren't fun for me. They are old, were used and very cheap so I am not concerned about returning them. My son thinks it may be the bindings, they were demos, and he thinks the bindings may have too much play. Before I got them I had never skied on shaped skis, and I thought that was the issue (it was, initially) but things never improved, at least on steeper runs and at faster speeds. They feel clumsy, like I can't maneuver them with agility, and I don't think it is just my technique. On not so steep runs they are okay, but not real fun, although they turn fine. I do need to learn to get on edge and carve more, but the only way to explain the situation is that it is not happening easily. so, I thought they were too stiff. I do think they are too long, and I should get a shorter pair. I planned for new skis this year--it is just which ones?

My thought - you tried your daughter's skis and had fun, so why not get a pair of those? To me, if demoing is out of the question for you, you could wind up in a similar situation to where you are right now: having spent money on a ski you hate.

Also the Dynastar Exclusive line is pretty extensive, do you know which ski it is in the line? My guess is that the bindings probably aren't the main issue. And I think your sons may be on to something with the stiffness.
