Bootfitters in Maine

Don’t know about Portland, but I highly recommend Adam Greenier at Sport Thoma in Bethel, ME. I think he also works in one of the other Sport Thoma stores but not sure which one. I am a nightmare when it comes to boots & he has successfully fitted me. I won’t go anywhere else at this point!

Thank you! Will check him out. I’m about 2.5 hours away now but only in Maine until mid-September, will need to figure out if he’s even doing boot fitting in off season.

Bambara, planning to travel to Bethel and will need to spend the night. Can you recommend lodging convenient to Sport Thoma? Thank you!

I’ve always stayed on the mountain so I don’t have personal knowledge of other places. However, the Sunday River mountain website has info on local places as well as their own!

Staying at the mountain will offer the most “upscale” accommodations in the area, with full hotel offerings. Awhile back I stayed at either the Rostay or Bethel Village Motel. Both are clean and basic accommodation that are (or at least were) very reasonably priced for a night’s stay. It’s a small area, so really anything can be considered convenient to Sport Thoma.
