They really work!
I guess I'm not necessarily surprised -- maybe just surprised at how well they worked today.
We skied Copper, and it's very cold. Somewhere around 0 degrees, give or take a couple, plus a fair bit of wind.
I used them with the toe warmers on top of the boot under the glove. My daughter also used a pair, with the toe warmers as well as the heated inserts for her boot insole. Both of us had fairly warm feet all day ... as warm as my feet usually are above 30 degrees or so. (My feet get really cold, even when it's warm out.)
We did have to go in after every two or three runs, to make sure our hands and faces didn't freeze off, so that probably helped, but my feet usually get cold before everything else.
DH gave me a (homemade) certificate for the battery-operated heaters for last Christmas, but I thought I'd try this cheaper alternative first ... I believe I'm happy with it. Thanks for the suggestion, which I'm sure I read here somewhere.
