Boot fitter in Portland, OR?

I'm having a problem with my right boot. More often than not, my right heel wants to pop up a little bit, and then I have problems controlling my right ski. Today, I tried to tighten everything down even more so, and it didn't work.

It's not consistent, though. I've skied two days in a row with the same pair of socks (to try it out) and one day, the heel was popping, the next, it wasn't.

I'm skiing Salomon Ellipses, if that's any help.

Thanks!

Try going to Signal Sports. It's an all women's ski/skate shop down in the Pearl District, next to Title 9 and REI. Either that or the Ski Chalet, over in... Beaverton I think? They both have websites. I've been more impressed with Signal Sports, than the other one, but they are both great. You might try REI while you are down there too, I worked for the company for a couple years, and got my boots fitted there, it's hit and miss with employees, but stop in and see, if you like.

I hope I am not to late, I have been off for a week or so recovering my ACL surgery..... you should go to Hillcrest Sports, they are in Gresham on Burnside, phone number is 503-665-4455. I forget their bootfitters name but he is awesome! DH and I buy all of our gear there and he had his boots done before this season started. He was very pleased. They have lots of tools to analyze your stance and feet and I think they are the best in our area. They definitely know their stuff. DH is up skiing today but when he gets home I will get the guy's name... you'd probably be fine without it, it's a small mom and pop operation. They also have great end of season deals!
Let me know if you make it over there and what you think.

So is our season ever going to end???!!! See you at Ski Bowl Friday afternoon!!!!! Think powder:ski2:
Oh, yeah, and thanks for the tip about Hillcrest. Since they didn't have the boot I wanted in my size, I bought it on line but still need a biostance fitting and I think they do that. They are close to home for me, too!
Don't go to the Mountain Shop. Just an FYI.
