I contacted a local Blizzard insider to ask what is up with the Eos, and why is it being discontinued.
His reply: Trust me, that ski is so good and so popular they are not discontinuing it. They just haven't included it in the current 09 literature, but it will be available and likely one of the best in its category.

Rejoice!!!!

The main difference we noticed was the binding system has a single screw that attaches the binding via a rail system in the center of the binding. This allows the ski to flex beautifully at a single point instead of two points. Creating an incredibly easy turning, forgiving ski. My husband a former tele skier loved both these and the fatter one. The arc reminded him of the fluidity of a tele turn, but easier for an old guy who is too creaky to bend all the time. He is dying for a pair, but as well noone sells them in our area either.

Gloria, my husband loves the Cronus(unisex version of the Eos), which he has in 180.
It is one of his skis that he frequently tells his friends, they have to try!!
