I demoed the BP 82s in 159 and loved them (5'7", 125lbs). Didn't really think much of them at first, not sure what I was expecting but they felt so stable to me that I skied much faster and steeper terrain than I normally do. I ended up getting a great deal on Nordica Sentra 6 from a fellow Diva and like them but I'm still thinking about the BPs...Good to know they changed the color, didn't care for the mauve/rose gold/pink.
Hoping to try the 88s this year as a comparison.

Yeah. I don’t like mauve in general, but this is a pretty yucky shade of mauve.

I have two pairs of Blizzard...one of my favorite manufacturers. I adore my Sheeva 9, but have gone on record as not being a BP fan but then again I rarely get to demo my length. The OP is young and has been skiing all her life - I am afraid she may outski the BP 82.
