Biking down Corbet's?

Never mind the bikers (in their full face helmets) - the skiier looks like they dropped just with a...baseball cap on??

I did a winter downhill bike race at a ski area a few years ago just for the novelty of it. Riding down snow, even with some berms built up, was decidedly non-fun. The traction is terrible and it's near impossible to turn with any speed, even on fat bikes.

If you look at the video around 3:33 you can see they had to lay down dirt at the entrance chute so the riders didn't do uncontrolled slides into the couloir. Those guys are super skilled, obviously, but they're mostly just straightlining, which is about all you can do in snow and pitch like that. Novelty appeal? Sure. New winter sport? Meh!
