big ski/boot sale at REI!

I just bought a new pair of skis! I was browsing the REI sale web site, and found the Head iM82s that I demoed and liked last winter. Got them for $359 - without bindings, but I'll get those later.

I didn't have to pay for shipping either, because I had them delivered to a nearby REI store.

I never thought I'd be buying skis on a sunny afternoon in June, but like my husband said, this was too good a deal to pass up.

Wow! Volkl AC3s for $369.83!!!!! Tie me to the chair and hide my credit card!!!! These are very nice skis.

You nearly gave me a heart attack there, woman! I thought you meant they were offering a better price than my february deal of the year on my Attiva AC3s... so my morbid curiosity got the best of me... I went and looked. Turns out that I have no reason to be upset about this... however I did just see lotta luvs in my size for $479... but no way do I need another new pair of skis... no matter how tempting. I guess luckily they aren't under 350
