If you donate your bra to Fat Mardi's Restaurant in Tremblant's Mountain Village Square, they'll give you a $25. credit toward dinner there, plus donate $25. to the Canadian Cancer Society.

I understand they have a line of bras going around the bar.

I would agree that this is much better than a bra tree. Especially when the forest service uses a rifle to get them out and annihilates the tree. ( I just found that out, I had been wondering all season why the tree had no branches left )
Although I am all for fundraising, I do agree with tacky. I think all of us smart women Divas should try and come up with something more commemorative of the female skier than the proverbial bra which seems to be a universal icon. Did this start back in the "Head comin on strong and keep your tips up" days?

TJBrk/JB007 has sent me this message - The idea came from a family member that is "having problems". (I think its more like battling this disease.) We have come far in curing this, but not far enough. Most of us know someone that has been touched by this disease. Yes its tacky, but I know of an event that auctioned off "designer" bras for the Cancer. The bras were hand decorated by celebrities and shown believe it or not on "Hockey Night in Canada". I think it was the Toronto Maple Leafs - wives group that initiated the event. They raised a good amount of coin. So any ideas for a Diva bra - so far I have a "theSkiDiva.com" official sticker, a pink ribbon pin and a daffodil pin (official symbol of the CCS). There is still room on the right boob gals!

I'm thinking of writing a sentiment on the other boob. Something like:
"Fat Mardis, love and support, the Ski Diva's."
support could be taken different ways, so it might be appropriate??
In my last post, I did too late last night, I forgot to mention that the family member is female. So its her idea, not some guys.

Actually, if it's for breast cancer research, I think bras are appropriate.

I agree, I didn't quite get it at first, but alas I've caught on. I think my view may be a little distorted by a very distastful event involving a woman and her bra at the end of year party. For breast cancer research, definately, for crowd pleasing, hmmm maybe try something new that one is getting old.
