Still open spots this weekend for $25 (!) half day Women in Powder ski and snowboard clinics in Park City this weekend.

Women in Powder also at Northstar and Kirkwood this weekend.

No powder at N* or Kirkwood lately but good deal

Has anyone ever gone to the women’s clinic at Sugarbush, VT? Trying to think ahead to next season to avoid skisonal depression setting in…

Has anyone participated in one of the CPI women's 3 day clinics in Aspen? It looked interesting to me - I don't currently use Carv, I'm a solid intermediate...I feel like I could potentially get a lot out of this but would love to hear some first hand experience!

Sounds like you are considering women's clinics in the west, as opposed to sticking in the northeast.

Have you noticed that Diva West in late Feb 2026 will be during a Taos Women's Ski Week? If you could get away for a full week, a Ski Week is a very effective way to improve technique . . . for under $500 for six consecutive morning lessons. There are Classic Ski Weeks from December through March, which are co-ed but an intermediate group can be 3-4 women.

I’d prefer a clinic in the east, but I don’t want to do it over a weekend, so I’m challenged in that. There are not a lot of options in the East. As far as Diva Week, I will be at a work event in LA that week, so not likely to make it to Taos unless something changes.

OK everyone can disregard my post...Okemo just posted their clinic dates and I am definitely choosing that one, based on the reviews here. Thanks!

Clearly the the women's clinics based at Alta Lodge are very popular. The two Women's Intermediate/Advanced clinics are already sold out as of late July. The Women's Skills clinic (ski Wed, Thu, Fri) in early December is unusual because the only guests at Alta Lodge those days will be women doing the clinic.

All the Alta Lodge co-ed clinics are still available.

There is a webpage on the Alta website that has all the camps for women only. In addition to Alta Lodge, the Peruvian and Rustler lodges each host one camp.

Rippin Chicks and Ski With Kim each have a steeps camp at Alta. These camps do not include lodging.

Mammoth used to do a Women's Ski Week though I think it was only 3 days long. It was really great when I took it and really raised my ski level. Hmm, I might have to try that this season. I will definitely need help getting back on snow after my knee replacement.

Glad to see someone earlier mentioned the ones at Whistler Blackcomb. The dates next winter are:
  • December 12-13, 2026 (ski only)
  • January 9-10, 2027
  • January 23-24, 2027
  • February 6-7, 2027
  • February 20-21, 2027 (ski only)
  • March 6-7, 2027
  • March 20-21, 2027 (ski only)
I like that they are only 2 days. I did a 3-day women’s camp at Breck and got tired of it after awhile.

Do you have to be part of the lodges to sign up? And what is Rippin Chicks?

The five lodges in the town of Alta are commercial "ski chalets," that provide room and board at a high level. They are not at all like a "ski lodge" that are member supported as exist in New England.

The three lodges in Alta work together with Alta Ski School for the ski camps. Alta Lodge has the longest history of offering ski camps and the most variety. To find out more information, check the website for a lodge.

Rippin Chix has been offering "steeps" camps for women for quite a while. They get permission to hold their camps at assorted ski resorts such as Alta or Whitewater. It was one of the first to offer female coaches for advanced/expert women.

Thanks, Lexi! Yes, we are currently working on the 26/27 season for the gear, ski, and experience guides!

Last year we launched the only women's snow calendar where we placed programs from AK, CA, CO, WA, OR, NV, NM, UT, and VT in one easy-to-search location. This year the calendar is coming back (entries slowly trickle in until the fall). The idea was to remove the endless search from the internet and social media and put trustworthy info in one single location instead of going based on an algorithm.

We are also expanding our experience guide. We vet women's lessons, clinics, camps, trips, retreats, heli trips, backcountry (AIARE) education, and more so you can find what you are looking to explore on snow. None of these cost anything to the user.

Every listing is fully vetted (so you don't have to question who is teaching/ guiding).

Stay tuned, right now the ski/ gear guide looks like that will be released in September and the experience guide shortly after.

Welcome!

Have you considered adding ID, MT? How about NY, NH, ME?
