Belly Flops

I'm watching the History channel tonight and the process of candy making.
The Jelly Belly factory is soooooooooo cool!
Did you know that the jelly beans that get stuck together or are misshapen and can't be marketed are called belly flops and are sold in the factory store?

I wanna eat a belly flop!

Yeah there's a Jelly Belly factory in Wisconsin that's near the border with Illinois, and I make a detour on my way back from skiing from time to time to grab a bag of belly flops. They're cheap, too!

The factory has a little train style cart ride that takes you through the various rooms and teaches about candy making, I've taken my niece and she loves it. There's candy sampling, candy for sale, a cafe and tons of jelly belly swag.
