This is not so much an update as a plea for everyone local-ish to start praying/burning appropriate offerings to the snow deity of your choice: The WB forecast is so warm I thought I was looking at the Village forecast, but nope, that's the Alpine forecast a week before ostensible season opening....

This is definitely a reversal of the last couple of years when WB had tons of snow and Vail very little. The only silver lining I can see is that hopefully there will be a rebalancing of visitors away from the long-haul 7+ day skiers prized by Vail Resorts back to locals as presumably Epic Pass holders will head to Vail etc.

I hope so. I'm on the strata counci for my building & earlier this year when we were budgeting for snow removal, it seemed to be common knowledge among the others that we were due for a warmer than usual winter in Vancouver. WB's had 3 good years in a row so that made sense intuitively, from a mean reversion principle.
