Aw-oh! Help - do I need new skis?

So I finally returned to the condo last weekend - hadn't noticed this after my injury, but my skies have quite a crack in the top, beneath the bindings.
Are these safe to ski next year? Or an excuse to buy new? Honestly I'd prefer to begin skiing again on familiar skis, rather than demoing and buying new at first, but I can't get injured again either! Thoughts?
