I just demoed the Volkl Luna and really liked it. It felt very light and soft compared to the Cloud 9. I was really impressed how it held an edge. I really like the cloud 7 too and the cloud 9 is stiffer but more stable in crud. I am worried that the Luna may not be good in crud, pushed out snow. I only demoed it in slush conditions. How can one tell if they are going to outgrow the ski in one season?
