Anyone ski this weekend?

My ski season ended two weeks ago, and I'm looking out the window at the budding trees in my backyard.

So who skied this weekend and where? Care to rub my nose in your extended ski season?

Not this weekend. NVG and I talked about it but it wasn't to be. Next weekend we'll do plenty of rubbing. :duck:

Friday. Heavenly. Empty. Only rode the lift one time with a person. He was from Colo. so we talked about A-basin. Rode the Gondola & shuttle back by myself. Just no one there. Maybe I should try Squaw next week ? Naw , I'll just wait for A-basin next week where I know there will be Diva's to ski with !

I had planned on extending ski season to the end of May by hitting Mammoth. But, the weather is so warm at my place, I really need to get into Spring before Summer hits. I think I'll be done after Mother's day weekend. Can't believe I said that, but it's how I'm feeling.

I went skiing yesterday at Snowbird. So. much. fun.

The front side was really
icy in the morning, so we spent the morning in Mineral basin, and then skied the front side after lunch.

Mr Tradygirl and I decided to head up to Alta on Friday hoping for some leftovers after a Wednesday night dump of 16" of powder. I was a bit apprehensive about touring and skiing in a cast, but it was no big deal!

Alta is a beautiful place to be after closing day - very peaceful and extremely majestic. You've all seen me post this view before, but it just never gets old.

Devil's Castle with no tracks on a bluebird day. Unreal.

You just don't see sun like this in January.

The only skiing pic. The batteries died as my husband took the picture!

Fantastic powder skiing on May 2nd. There's still SO MUCH snow up there, it's unbelievable. Hope to get some June pics this year!

Yep! I went to Brundage in McCall, Idaho. They still have 116" inches at the top!

We are talking about touring in Central Idaho in a few weeks.

It is always a great Spring when you can ski, raft, and bike all in the same day:becky:

Coming a little late to the discussion--but yeah, I skied last weekend, and I plan to go skiing on Mother's Day as well!

Skied today at Abasin. The coverage isn't as good as last week, but still really great for mid May! The conditions I'm seeing right now are usually what is mid April....

East Wall, chutes, Montezuma, West Wall & Pallivcini are all still open and tons of fun!!! I don't know when I have seen the East Wall & chutes open this late.

Might be getting in more snow this week!:ski2:

I checked the Alta snowstake today just out of curiousity. There's still 12 FEET of snow up there.

Just sayin....

wow, I've already put out my hanging baskets and planted my basil and tomatoes. My season ended about 6 weeks ago.

I put my hanging baskets out and planted my window boxes last Thursday. Saturday, I was skiing 8-10" of fresh powder! Monday, it was 80 and I had a lovely bike ride with friends. Yesterday, I had to bring all the plants in so they wouldn't get frozen as we had a rain/snow combo all day! (Not to mention another foot of powder up at A-Basin...alas if only I could get up there to partake...)

Gotta love springtime in Colorado!

Not exactly the "weekend", since I'll be doing some short hiking and road side photography come Saturday/Sunday.

Today and tomorrow, Sunshine Village, Banff, Canada.
