Anyone here read "Downhill Slide?" It's by Hal Clifford, the former ski-area real estate manager of Ski Magazine, and it's about the big ski corporations (more specifically Vail Resorts, ASC, and Intrawest)and the effect they have on skiing, ski towns, and the environment. Decidedly one sided, but well thought out and very well presented. Highly recommend.
