Looks like it's been dumping in Colorado. I am jealous, jealous, jealous!

If you've managed to get in a run or two, please feed my addiction and post the details!

Of course we don't have the snow in Michigan to open ski resorts yet, so I'm one of the lucky ones on the hill yet.
I have noticed that there is already a reported injury on Epic. One of the Expert skiers had and uh oh, and will be heading off for surgery on a broken leg.
That's no way to start the ski season.:(

I'm NOT one of the lucky ones on the hill,
Although, when we had our snow a few weeks ago, I skied in my back yard:D

Yeah, well, not really, I don't think....

We have light, light snow here today (VT). I understand they have quite a bit farther north and that some people are hiking up to take some turns. I'm not into that, though. Hiking an hour or so while lugging all that gear for a five minute run over rocks and who knows what else is not my idea of a good time.

I humbly say 'aye'.
I've skied A-Basin twice, and Keystone and Copper once each so far. Copper has the best snow and coverage right now, and it's inspirational skiing alongside all the ripping ski team kids on a weekday! Not a smeared turn on the slopes today.... except for maybe a few of mine

I skied on Friday, my first day out. It's dumping today, but that means that everyone is on the mountains. I have to go in for job training at Copper tomorrow, so I will ski after that. One of the things about being a local is that you get choosy about when you ski.

Go ahead and hate me!:p

I've skied A-Basin once and Copper once. We're planning on skiing this Wed and Thurs. Probably Copper 1 day, Keystone the other.

Glad to hear it's dumping today, we're getting "light snow" here in Lakewood.

I skied A-Basin on Oct 22nd and 25th, and Loveland on the 24th and 26th.
Loveland on the 26th was the best - 22 inches fresh, all roads in and out closed just after we made it there, so there were about 50 of us skiing! Lots of fun!

Then I had to drive back out to CA, no snow yet!

I'm headed up tonight, I hope. Conditions on I-70 don't sound very good right now.

Keystone and Copper are reporting 10" of fresh snow.
