Any Scrapbookers Out There?

I just bought a Cricut Expressions machine and a Cricut original (more portable!) I can't STOP USING IT!!!!!!!! :yahoo:

I think I will be fine this summer now....and (God forbid) that I don't get the ok to ski.....I will just stay busy with my Cricut.

Anyone else addicted? :cheer:

Scapbooking isn't a hobby of mine, though I have made several as gifts. I'm quite into book making/binding, and there have been occasions where a scrapbook made from the ground up was the perfect present.

Unfortunately I can't afford one- wow, expensive!

I very recently got into scrapbooking. After 4 years of buying stuff from a friend who sells Creative Memories, I decided to crack open this giant box of stuff and make a stab at it. I asked my friend to come over for a personal scrapbooking session. So I'm on my way! What did I start with? Our family ski pictures of course! Over the years I've purchased lots of snowy, ski like stuff from her (stickers, other die cut things), so it was perfect. And I saved all of our lift tix and trail maps from a big weekend during spring break at Killington last year. I'm doing very simple pages, but at least I started!

Our family is loving it. I did a mini album for DD. She can't stop turning the pages and shows all of her friends. I originally bought it to make a First Communion scrapbook for her, but now... can only find one picture from her F.C.!!

Tell me what you need cut, and pm me and I'll send to you if you ever want to! I LOVE THIS THING! I can't stop cutting! :becky:

I'm not addicted. But I do it and love it! I'm way behind. I have a friend who owns a scrapbook retreat house in Estes Park. It's fun to go there once a year for a weekend and get tons done! I'm a sucker for all the gadgets but I think the cricut is beyond me!

I won an award with Creative Memories in 2000 (www.creativememories.com) because I made so many scrapbooks. I had 16 of them, all completed, and they burned up in my house fire in April 2003. I've made only 2 since, and have a hard time getting around to it as I'm still sad about the loss. I'm planning to work on them when I'm recovering from surgery though.

Would love to see yours sometime NVG!
