Any good ideas for a very short & very cuddly ski diva's ski clothes?

I'm 5 feet tall and I'm not exactly petite LOL... Was just wondering if anyone has any good tips for ski clothing - pants, jackets, fleeces etc that work well for them if they are similar shaped!

Usually if I buy something that is wide enough - it is ridiculously long on me - and if I but something that is near the right length - its way to tight on me.

I'm not exactly huge (I generally wear a US size 8) but since I'm really short it seems to pose issues...my ski pants are very very long on me - so much so that I roll them up and then when I put my ski boots on they are just about right as long as they stay rolled up! LOL - hmmm maybe I should look for someone to alter them - but was worried that might change the waterproof nature...

I was so hoping that skiing would help me lose some weight but so far...nope - i think I have way to many hot chocolate breaks and eat more than usual when I'm out on the slopes to keep warm!!!
