Any Breckenridge instructors here?

Just today, I got permission to take my teenaged grandson along on our ski trip. I started looking online at ski schools on Peak 8, and they just have full day lessons now? No half day morning lessons for adults?
From what I gather, half days only start in the afternoon....seems like a big waste of a morning to me?
I just wanted a refresher course for him, not a whole day.

Hmmm, I'm looking at their lesson site and it looks to me like you're right, they only offer afternoon half-day lessons. How much skiing experience does he have?

He has only skied a couple times on our little midwestern "bumps". You can't even call them hills.
He's an althletic boy though, but I don't want to take him up with us until I am sure he can stop even if he gets to going a little to fast.
Again, I am flabbergasted at the prices. They used to give you a break on a lesson and lift, I sure can't find any there.
Does Copper offer that combination?

Okay, I think he really should be in a full day program, at least for one day since he's only skied a couple of time on a small mountain. These larger mountains can be overwhelming for someone who isn't used to them and is a pretty new skier. If he is 15 or under Copper has a program (to which I am NOT affiliated) for 1 full day lesson, lift ticket and rental for $140 (also includes lunch). To give you an idea, window ticket price at Copper is around $85 so this is a big savings.

I very much like Copper Mountain (far better than Breckenridge), especially for newer skiers as the mountain has naturally divided terrain that helps new skiers not get stuck on difficult slopes and deters experienced skiers from spending much time amongst the newbies.

Good luck!

I am appalled in having to pay $90 for a lesson, and they don't even include a break on the lift ticket. I think for beginners at least, there should be a more moderate package of a lesson with full lifts. :(

How sad..
