Any aerialists around here?

I know we have a number of racers on the forum, so that got me wondering what other type of skiers we might have here. Anyone do any aerial stuff? Hucking? Half pipe? If so, tell us how you got started and what you like to do.

I'm not an aerialist but I want to be that person who can be!

Last season I crept through the half pipe every time I skied at Attitash, once they built it. I make it a must. Some days I slide up to the top of its edges with some confidence, some days I only make it half way up and stay low because I can't get rid of the fear. It's still scary for me.

I'd like to be able to bust through the thing, zooming up to the tops with confidence. Maybe that will happen this season. I can't find anyone else who will do it with me, so I'm always alone. AND, they build the thing beneath two chairlifts which means there are always a lot of people watching, so there's that weighing on my mind as well. Anyone want to come up to Attitash and give it a try with me?

Oh, and I've never taken a jump on purpose. The other times, I crashed. That's another thing I want to figure out how to do.
